Maclin had started showing symptoms of fatigue, weight loss, loss of appetite, night sweats, and other symptoms in February, but has been feeling better as of late. Though the Eagles do now know what exactly caused the symptoms, major illnesses like lymphoma were ruled out after tests came back negative. Maclin had started showing symptoms of fatigue, weight loss, loss of appetite, night sweats, and other symptoms in February, but has been feeling better as of late. Though the Eagles do now know what exactly caused the symptoms, major illnesses like lymphoma were ruled out after etsts came back negative. "We're confident that what he has is not life-threatening and he's able to go back to play football without problems," Eagles head trainer Rick Burkholder said. "He doesn't have lymphoma, he doesn't have Hodgkin's, he doesn't have cancer - which is the hurdle we wanted to clear." Maclin, 23 and already in his third season, had a breakout campaign in 2010 with 70 catches for 964 yards and 10 scores. The former Missouri Tigers standout is slated for second or third on depth chart, jockeying with recent acquisition and former New York Giants No. 1 wideout Steve Smith.
