Toronto, Canada (CNS) - Perez Hilton's assault charge against Black Eyed Peas tour manager Polo Molina has been postponed until later this month.
The gossip blogger was allegedly struck in the face by Molina during a confrontation with BEP frontman will.i.am at the 2009 MuchMusic Video Music Awards after-party.
Will.i.am claimed he approached Hilton regarding insulting bandmate Fergie on his website, but Hilton called him a "faggot." This was when somebody hit him in the face.
Hilton posted a video blog on his website and accused Molina of hitting him. Molina was detained and will appear in a court in Toronto, Canada, where the MuchMusic Award was held.
According to SFgate.com, the case has been adjourned until August 26.
The blogger is seeking $25,000 for damages.
