KHOST, Afghanistan (Reuters) - A suicide car bomber attacked a NATO base in eastern Afghanistan Thursday, inflicting some casualties, a NATO force spokeswoman said.
"We have ISAF casualties, but we don't know how many," said the spokeswoman, referring to NATO's International Security Assistance Force.
The bomber blew himself up at the gate of the base, an Afghan district official in Khost province said.
