Crestview, FL (AHN) - Desperate times call for desperate measures. Donald Leon May proved that recently when he entered an empty residence without permission to take a shower. According to police reports, the 48-year-old man entered a Florida home through an unlocked back door. While in the shower, a boy - who thought his father was home - entered the bathroom and realized May was not his father. May told the boy that President Obama let him in, and told the boy to leave. The boy - who was with two other juveniles at the time, one of whom lived at the residence with him - went to a neighbor's house to call the police. Police found May still in the house with nothing on but a towel wrapped around his waist.
When questioned by police, May said "The Yellow Brick Road brought him to Crestview."
May was arrested three days prior for trespassing and failing to leave the premises of another property. He was released from the Okaloosa County Jail just two hours before the incident on November 18.
Police charged May with felony burglary to an occupied dwelling and petty theft.
