The mid-sized lender, which will debut on the Shanghai Stock Exchange on August 18, set the price range for its shares at 2.85 yuan to 3.10 yuan, according to a filing with the bourse Sunday. Everbright Bank said it plans to issue 6.1 billion shares. If over-allotment options are exercised, it could issue up to seven billion shares. The IPO is set to be China's second-largest this year after Agricultural Bank of China raised at least 19.2 billion dollars in a dual listing in Shanghai and Hong Kong last month, according to Dow Jones Newswires. The bank, which takes subscriptions for the IPO on Monday and Tuesday, said at the weekend there had been strong demand for its shares, with the portion for institutional investors about 17 times oversubscribed in pre-marketing. Everbright will announce the final IPO price on Wednesday.
