LONDON (Hollywood Reporter) - Rookie British director Duncan Jones' "Moon" walked off with the top prize at the Edinburgh International Film Festival Sunday.
The son of singer David Bowie, Jones is one of the U.K.'s young maverick directing talents. His prize for best new British feature came with a purse of 20,000 pounds ($32,700).
The picture premiered at Sundance last year and stars Sam Rockwell as a man isolated on the moon. It recently opened in limited release at the North American box office through Sony Pictures Classics.
