After his headline-grabbing “Tonight Show” takeover, Leno is now taking standup duties away from Lewis Black. Okay, it’s not as bad as it sounds. Black originally was set to bring his “In God We Rust” show to the Hard Rock Live at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on December 30th. But due to illness has to cancel and won’t be rescheduling. In comes Jay Leno, the “Tonight Show” host with the most, who agreed to replace Black for the one night stand-up show. Tickets for Black’s show will be honored for Jay Leno and, of course, those who don’t think Leno is worth the cost can be refunded at point of purchase. Interestingly, it’s not the first time Leno performs at the Hard Rock Live on December 30th. He also played that same date at the Hollywood, FL venue in 2008.
