Los Angeles, CA (BANG) - Miss California USA Carrie Prejean has lost her crown for continuously disregarding her obligations. According to a new report, the controversial beauty queen has also treated everyone badly.
Prejean attracted nationwide attention when she said in the 2009 Miss USA pageant that she does not believe same-sex marriage should be legalized. She lost out to Miss North Carolina Kristen Dalton for the crown.
She gained further notoriety when semi-nude photos of her were published just weeks after the pageant, a violation of her pageant contract.
To the dismay of others, Miss USA co-owner Donald Trump decided to forgive her and let her retain her crown.
However, the beauty contest firm is now stripping her of the crown for continuously disregarding her contract obligations.
Executive director of K2 Productions Keith Lewis said in the documents obtained by Fox News, "This was a business decision based solely on contract violations. After our press conference in New York, we had hoped we would be able to forge a better working relationship."
"However, since that time it has become abundantly clear that Carrie has no desire to fulfill her obligations under our contract and work together."
TMZ's sources said that Prejean has been violating her contract by not getting clearance to do extracurricular stuff and being a no-show for appearances by the organization.
Even Trump seemed to have been put off by her attitude. He gave his thumbs up to Lewis for the decision to fire Prejean.
He told TMZ, "To me she was the sweetest thing. Everyone else - she treated like s**t."
