Nearly 390 Rolls-Royce Phantom luxury cars and 30 Land Rover Discovery vehicles have also been recalled according Xinhua, quoting a statement made Friday by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (GAQSIQ). On October 1 BMW announced the recall of 350,800 BMW and Rolls-Royce vehicles worldwide owing to brake problems that a spokesman stressed were "without danger". Luxury car manufacturers are increasingly looking to tap China's fast growing auto market. BMW has sold over 120,000 vehicles in China since January.
