At least 18 people are reported dead . ADVERTISEMENT Local police officer Sadiq Khan says the attacker approached on foot and detonated his explosives at the Torkham border checkpoint in the Khyber region. He says the assault came after sunset Thursday as tribal security officers were gathering for a meal to end their Ramadan fast. Khan says dozens are reported injured and the death toll could rise.
