CAAS sends condolences to family of Leslie Yeo

SINGAPORE : Staff and management at the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) have sent their condolences to the family of Leslie Yeo.
Mr Yeo’s body was identified on Sunday afternoon among those who died in the New Year’s fire at Bangkok’s Santika Pub.
In a statement, CAAS said that Mr Yeo had been an air traffic controller since 1994.
He was promoted recently to be in charge of management projects just a few months ago.
CAAS’ Director—General and Chief Executive Officer, Lim Kim Choon, also said that Mr Yeo was well—liked by his colleagues and is deeply missed by all at work.
Officers from CAAS and Singapore’s Foreign Affairs Ministry are also in Bangkok to help Mr Yeo’s family with logistics and administration. — CNA/ms
