Credit: Reuters/Molly Riley RICHMOND, Virginia (Reuters) - Apple Inc's new iPad includes chips from Samsung Electronics, Broadcom, and Texas Instruments, a teardown of the tablet computer revealed on Saturday. Technology IFixit, an Apple parts and repair specialist, took apart the iPad shortly after it went on sale at 9 a.m. EDT, and began to catalog the device's parts. So-called teardowns are closely watched in the technology industry, because components makers are barred from publicly discussing the companies they supply. Samsung, Broadcom and TI are not newcomers to Apple devices. Their processors are in other various other Apple products, such as the iPhone and iPod. Apple's 9.7-inch touchscreen tablet went on sale on Saturday after months of anticipation, with crowds lining up at Apple stores in many cities across the United States.
