Miami, FL, United States (AHN) - Former state House Speaker Marco Rubio will meet with former New York City Mayor and one time Republican presidential hopeful Rudy Giuliani in Miami on Monday.
Rubio will likely secure Guiliani's support as he battles Florida Gov. Charlie Crist for to appear as the Republican nominee for U.S. Senate in November.
Crist played a pivotal role in helping Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) win the Sunshine State's primary during the 2008 election; a victory that buoyed McCain but effectively ended Guiliani's presidential bid.
Now, Guiliani looks poised to repay the favor, endorsing Rubio at a time when he is comfortably in command of the Senate race against Crist.
Guiliani will meet with Florida voters at an event in Coral Gables on Monday. The event is free and open to the public; doors open at 10:30 am.
