The beach was reopened Sunday, and officials are trying to determine if the container, which contains British Petroleum markings, came from the Deepwater Horizon rig that exploded April 20. The stainless steel tank is capable of storing 550 gallons of oil, CNN reported. Witnesses say it is about the size of a refrigerator. So far, no oil has reached the Panama City shoreline. The container will be taken to Louisiana for further investigation of its origins.
