* Seen in T$32.95-T$33.1 range for rest of session
TAIPEI, July 9 - The Taiwan dollar <TWD=TP> rose against the U.S. currency on Thursday as a rising local stock market helped push the local dollar away from its lowest close in two months, dealers said.
"The stock market was the key driving force," said a dealer at a local bank.
Taiwan's main TAIEX share index <.TWII> jumped about 1.5 percent around half an hour into trade as investors chased major technology shares, inlcuding laptop PC maker Quanta Computer <2382.TW>.
Dealers said they expected the Taiwan dollar to move between T$32.95 and T$33.1 for the rest of the session.
