Curry will succeed Meredith Vieira, who has served as co-host with Matt Lauer for five years, the newspaper said in its online edition. Curry has served as the news anchor on "Today" for 14 years, the newspaper said. Natalie Morales, another of the anchors of "Today," will succeed Curry as the news anchor, and Savannah Guthrie, a White House correspondent and MSNBC anchor, will take the place of Morales, the newspaper said. Vieira's decision to leave was her own, the newspaper said. NBC could not be immediately reached for comment.
