The Colony, TX, United States (AHN) - A nine-year-old Texas boy hung himself by tying a belt around his neck inside the restroom of his school in The Colony.
A nurse at the Stewart's Creek Elementary found Montana Lance unconscious Thursday and performed CPR before calling 911. The apparent suicide victim was then taken to the Baylor Medical Center in Carrollton hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The boy was last seen alive shortly before 1 p.m. when he asked the nurse to use the bathroom at the school's front office, according to The Colony police. The boy then locked himself inside the restroom until the nurse notice he was inside too long. After not answering her pleas to open the door she went and got a key and made the grisly discovery.
The parents and family of the boy were shocked to learn of the boy's death and refused to comment on the incident.
