She has teamed up with PLP IP Holdings LLC, makers of the instant photo brand, and will serve as the brand's "creative director and inventor of specialty products." The Grammy Award-nominated singer's new role will apparently involved her starring in the company's marketing campaigns and on social networking channels. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Lady Gaga said in a statement, "I am so proud to announce my new partnership with Polaroid as the creative director and inventor of specialty products. The Haus of Gaga has been developing prototypes in the vein of fashion/technology/photography innovation - blending the iconic history of Polaroid and instant film with the digital era - and we are excited to collaborate on these ventures with the Polaroid brand." "Lifestyle, music, art, fashion: I am so excited to extend myself behind the scenes as a designer, and to as my father puts it - finally, have a real job." When asked to explain the singer's new role and product, a company representative told Wall Street Journal that Lady Gaga would be helping to develop "imaging products" that span both instant classic film category and digital imaging line, but declined to reveal more.
