SEOUL, Dec 12 - South Korean Finance Minister Yoon Jeung-hyun said on Saturday he expects the government and state-run companies to issue up to 90 trillion won ($77.65 billion) next year, Yonhap news agency reported.

Yoon was also quoted as saying the country was preparing measures to stabilise the local bond markets, when a lawmaker told him that the government needed to adjust bond issuance plan due to recent Dubai's debt crisis.

"I expect about 80-90 trillion won worth of bonds to be issued by the government and state-run companies in the domestic market next year, including 30 trillion won to make up for the expected budget deficit," Yoon told lawmakers, according to Yonhap.

Last month, a finance ministry official said the government planned to issue 80 trillion won in treasury bonds next year. [ID:nSEO354783] That compared with this year's treasury planned issuance totalling 85.6 trillion won.

Parliament has not yet approved the government's 290 trillion won budget for the next year.

Ministry officials were not available for comments on the Yoon's remarks.
