ADVERTISEMENT Johnny Constant Van Giert was overheard having a heated argument with his 37-year-old wife minutes before shooting her Tuesday night in the town of Iguig in northern Cagayan province, the police headquarters in Manila said in a report. Van Giert then turned the gun on himself, the police said. They said they were investigating what triggered the argument, which witnesses said occured after the wife received a mysterious telephone call.
