VH1's "Lords Of Revolution" Documentary To Feature 20th Century Icons

New York, NY (CNS) - Cable music network VH1 is set to honor some of the leaders and trailblazers of the 20th century in a new 5-part Rock Docs series beginning this August.
"Lords of Revolution" will feature five icons of the past century who have made significant cultural transformations during their time.
Three-time World Heavyweight Champion Muhammad Ali will be featured in the show's August 10 episode 8pm ET. Comedy duo Cheech & Chong will be the centric characters on the August 11 show, while political party The Black Panthers, which was considered to be one of the most significant social, political and cultural party in the U.S., will be featured on August 12.
1960s counterculture icon and advocate of psychedelic drug research Timothy Leary will have the show dedicated to him on August 13, Thursday, and artist/filmmaker Andy Warhol, a leading figure in pop art movement, will be featured on August 14.
"Lords of the Revolution" is the newest installment in the channel's Rock Doc franchise that will air documentaries, telling unique stories of artists and music from a wide range of genres, style and musical perspective.
