Jackson was rushed to the hospital after suffering a cardiac arrest, according to TMZ. Paremedics responded to a call shortly after 3:30 p.m. ET to a rented Bellair mansion where he had no pulse, according to NBC news. He was given CPR by Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics and rushed to the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, but medical personnel were unable to revive him. Jackson arrived at the hospital in a coma and later died there, according to the Los Angeles Times. The "King of Pop" was rehearsing for a series of concerts in London. Jackson is survived by a daughter and two sons, parents Katherine and Joseph, five brothers and three sisters. There was no immediate word on funeral arrangements.
