Everything should be dealt with only through legal channels. I will not accept any illegal actions." ___ "The existence of extremism in a society means each extremist move fans another extremist move. If the political elite want to put the law under foot ... they are the ones responsible for the bloodshed, the violence and rioting." ___ "We are made stronger by these new events. ... But this strong ship relies on your faith, your delivery, your hearts that are luminous with holy spirit." ___ In this election "the revolution won 40 million votes. The people trust ... but some supporters of some candidates should also know and be sure that Iran will never manipulate people and commit treason." ___ "It's not a fight between the outside world and the Islamic establishment, it's not a fight between pro-revolution and anti-revolution; the conflict is only a difference of opinion within elements within the framework of the establishment." ___ "The legal structure of the election does not allow any vote rigging. Everyone who was in charge of the elections process confirms this fact _ and to do so with a difference of 11 million votes. "Sometimes there is 100,000 votes here, 200,000 votes there, or 1 million maximum, then one can question whether there has been some rigging or manipulation or irregularities. But there is a difference of 11 million votes. How could this be rigged?" ___ "The celebration of 40 million voters should be appreciated and the enemy should not be allowed to ruin it, as is its intention. Of course, if there are some people who want to choose another way, then I will have to talk to these people, but I will have to speak more frankly. ___ "When some candidates started protesting then they (foreign countries) felt they had found their opportunity and jumped on the chance to ride the wave. "Their tone changed on Saturday and Sunday, and little by little they cast their eyes on some of these street rallies that occurred at the invitation of some candidates. "They pinned their hopes to those protests and their masks slipped and we saw their colors. ... "Inside the country, the elements of those foreign elements started their work, they started street rioting and vandalism. They set fire to public property and they made shops and businesses insecure, they looted some shops and actually they tried to deprive people of their lives and their property." ___ "The thing that was worst and ugliest to my eyes, amid all the comments, was the American officials' comments about their heartache over human rights and repression in Iran. "What does it mean, their saying they're worried about Iran? Do you even recognize what human rights are? Who spilled blood in the dirt of Afghanistan, and continues to do so? Who is crushing Iraq under a military boot? In Palestine, who is giving all their political and financial aid to the Zionist regime?
