Santa Monica, CA (AHN) - California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger's private jet made an emergency landing at the Van Nuys Airport Friday night.
The governor's press office released a statement the jet was about 10 minutes from the Santa Monica Airport when smoke was detected in the cockpit. The pilot landed the plane at about 6:25 p.m.
No one on the plane was injured and there were no flames visible.
The governor wrote about the incident on Twitter, calling it "a little adventure."
