Former 'Gay Days' Officer Had Sex While On Duty

Orlando, FL (AHN) - An Orange County sheriff's deputy has confessed to engaging in sexual activity with another man while he was on duty at a Disney-area hotel. The facility was a host for Disney's "Gay Days."
Deputy Bryan Villella was hired in earlier this year to provide extra security at the Royal Plaza Resort.
According to reports, the hotel night manager entered the Jasmine Bay conference room approximately at 1 a.m. and saw two men having sex.
The manager said one man resembled Villella, but since he did not see him in uniform was not sure and could not make a positive identification.
The manager said he saw Villella a little bit later sitting by his front desk, acting professional.
An investigation into the incident was carried out, but Villella refused to be interviewed by investigators.
Villella chose to sign a disciplinary document instead admitting he violated the agency's policy dictating moral character, according to reports.
Orange County sheriff's Capt. Angelo Nieves said Villella decided to admit his wrongdoing and proceed with disciplinary actions.
Villella will lose 150 hours of pay and will be put on probation for one year. He has also been re-assigned to patrol another part of the county.
Officials agree Villella was treated fairly.
