Boyle's "I Dreamed A Dream" becomes the first album by a female artist to sell over 500,000 copies in each of its first three weeks of release. "I Dreamed A Dream" is already the biggest-selling album released in 2009. She's also currently the fourth best-selling title over all this year, behind previous year's releases like Taylor Swift's "Fearless," Michael Jackson's "Number Ones," and Lady Gaga's "The Fame." Andrea Bocelli spends his fifth week in the #2 spot, but with some top sales. His "My Christmas" sells another 400,000 copies this week. At #3 is the debut of "Glee: The Music, Volume 2," the second soundtrack to the hit Fox show. The album, which includes covers of songs by Kelly Clarkson and Lily Allen, sells 173,000 in its first week. Taylor Swift moves down a spot to #4 for its 48th week in the top 10 with "Fearless," which sells another 168,000 copies. Carrie Underwood moves up a spot to #5 with "Cowboy Casanova," and selling 107,000 copies. Her variety special aired on Fox last week. Lady Gaga's "The Fame," which is now available in a Deluxe Edition which includes her new EP "The Fame Monster," is at #6 with 103,000 copies. Chris Brown debuts at #7 with his third studio album, "Graffiti," selling 102,000 copies. Justin Bieber's "My World" moves up to #8 this week, selling 97,000 copies. Michael Buble follows at #9 with 92,000 copies sold of his latest, "Crazy Love." Rapper Gucci Mane, known for his guest spots on Mariah Carey's "Obsessed" and "H.A.T.E. U" remix, debuts at #10 with "The State vs. Radric Davis." The album, which features the single "Spotlight" with Usher, sells 90,000 copies in its first week.
