Mumbai slum fire destroys home of Slumdog actor
MUMBAI - A fire in a Mumbai slum destroyed the one-room shack of "Slumdog Millionaire" child actress Rubina Ali, leaving her family homeless, Ali said. The fire also swept through hundreds of tenements late on Friday near railway tracks where Ali continued to live even after gaining global recognition. Nobody was hurt in the fire.

David Arquette hurt but "okay" after car crash
LOS ANGELES - "Scream" actor David Arquette was involved in a car crash on Friday and taken to a hospital, but was "okay and is getting treatment," his spokeswoman said. Arquette, 39, the estranged husband of former "Friends" star Courteney Cox, was driving in the West Hollywood community of Los Angeles when his car smashed into another automobile, celebrity website TMZ.com said.
Charlie Sheen to get animated special on Spike TV

Ex-Soviet Georgia eyes film industry rebirth
MOSCOW - Georgian moviemakers are banking on European partners, international stars such as Mexico's Gael Garcia Bernal and their rich landscape to rebuild a film industry that was devastated by the Soviet collapse. "The Loneliest Planet," an independently financed thriller focusing on a young couple's trek through the wilderness, stars Bernal and Israeli actress Hani Furstenberg and was entirely shot in Georgia last summer.

NASHVILLE, Tennessee - When they recorded their new album "World Gone Crazy," the Doobie Brothers remained true to their rock 'n' roll roots. Then, the title tune began getting airplay on country radio. Now, more than three decades after mega-hits such as "Black Water," "China Grove" and "Takin' It To the Streets," the Doobie Brothers are sensations in Nashville, right up there with younger upstarts such as the Zac Brown Band.
