Scott, a jet pack pilot, was clocked reaching 68 mph while harnessed to the jet pack, which is powered by hydrogen peroxide, according to the World's Record Academy. "I knew this was going to be a special weekend for breaking records," Scott told the Academy. "Knockhill is a great location and when the weather improved it was all about going fast!" The last time he was in Scotland, Scott flew in a jet pack from the roof of Glasgow's City Chambers to the opposite end of George Square, the BBC reported. Scott, 46, from Denver, is also the first man to fly across Colorado's Royal George canyon powered by a jet pack.
