Hansen Sinclair - AHN Reporter
Chattanooga, TN, United States (AHN) - Tennessee police said a 4-year-old boy was found wandering around his neighborhood, wearing a girl's dress he took from underneath a neighbor's Christmas tree while drinking a beer at night.
The mother of the boy said her son did this so he could be arrested and go to jail to be with his father. April Wright, 21, reportedly said she and the boy's father were going through a divorce.
The Chattanooga boy, found Tuesday, was taken to hospital and had his stomach pumped because he ingested alcohol.
The Hamilton County Sheriff's Department is investigating the incident, but did not release the report.
Although Wright met with child protective services, she will maintain custody of her son.
