The soon-to-be ex-“Hanna Montana” star says she wants to ditch singing for acting in films. Her last album is expected to come out in June. When the outspoken 17-year-old appeared on “The View,” she said that she has gotten a bit dismayed with the music industry. And when eonline.com asked her again, she said she wants to work in the movies instead. She said, “I’ve got a record coming out in June and then I’m done. I just want to work in movies. That’s what I like and that’s what I want to be doing.” But maybe she just means quitting pop music? Late last year, she told a U.K. morning show that she was working on her “last pop record” because she wanted to create “edgier” music.
