The news anchor will be reporting from the frontlines of the battlefield in the country for the upcoming "Dan Rather Reports" episode. Rather will be updating his Twitter followers with the happenings in the eastern region of the country, where some of the heaviest casualties have been reported. He will spend a week touring the region and speaking with local U.S. military commanders about their views on sending more troops. Videos from his trip will air on the upcoming episode of his show. The specific date of airing is still not known. This is his third trip to the nation for the cable channel.
