Pakistan's 6-mth T-bill cut off yield at 13.8731

The weighted average yield on the 6-month paper fell to 13.7357 percent, compared with 13.9958 percent in the previous auction on Jan. 28, the State Bank of Pakistan said <SBPK12>.
The cut-off yield on 3-month paper fell to 13.6237 percent compared with 13.7624 percent in the previous auction, while the weighted average yield also fell to 13.4553 percent compared with 13.7338 percent.
The cut-off yield on the 12-month paper was 13.9074 percent and the weighted average yield was 13.8408 percent.
The central bank kept its key discount rate flat at 15 percent on Jan. 31. It raised its key discount rate in November by 200 basis points to 15 percent just before the International Monetary Fund approved a $7.6 billion loan to help avert a balance of payment crisis.
The central bank said it sold 50.77 billion rupees ($639 million) of the 3-month paper, 51.89 billion rupees ($653 million) of the 6-month paper, and 52.54 billion rupees ($661 million) of the 12-month paper after receiving total bids of 377.25 billion rupees.
It had a combined auction target of 130 billion rupees.
Settlement will take place on Thursday. ($1= 79.40 Pakistani rupees) (Reporting by Aftab Borka and Sahar Ahmed; Editing by Simon Cameron-Moore)
