NEW YORK (Reuters) - The British screenwriter husband of late actress Brittany Murphy has been found dead at his Los Angeles home, just five months after Murphy died.

Simon Monjack, 39, died of natural causes Sunday night, according to the Los Angeles County Coroner's office.
"There is no evidence of foul play," spokeswoman Lt. Cheryl MacWillie said Monday. An autopsy will be conducted over the next few days, MacWillie said, adding that she did not know when results would be available.
Murphy, 32, the co-star of movies "Clueless" and "8 Mile" suffered a cardiac arrest on December 20 in the bathroom of their Hollywood Hills home. A coroner later ruled her death was accidental and the result of pneumonia, anemia and "multiple drug intoxication."
The couple had married in 2007.
