Raymond "Chuck" Foster, 44, allegedly shot Cynthia Lynch, 43, when she told him and other members of the Bogalusa Sons of Dixie Knights that she wanted to go home. Lynch had traveled from her home in Tulsa, OK, to Louisiana to be initiated into the Klan. But something went wrong during the initiation and she asked to leave. Instead of allowing Lynch to get out, Foster allegedly shot her. If Foster is convicted, he faces an automatic mandatory life sentence in prison without the possibility of parole. Foster is said to be the leader of the group. Seven other members were indicted on charges of obstructing justice, but only Foster's son Shane Foster, 20, and Frank Stafford, 21, were indicted on those charges.
