Credit: Reuters/Gus Ruelas LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - A judge on Monday sentenced a man to the maximum sentence of two years behind bars for stalking "American Idol" host Ryan Seacrest. Entertainment | Television | People Los Angeles Superior Court Judge John Fisher imposed the sentence on Chidi Uzomah Jr, 26, after he pleaded no contest -- the legally equivalent of a guilty plea -- to stalking. Uzomah was arrested in October 2009 at the offices of E! entertainment television, where Seacrest works. He had a pocket-knife with him, police had testified. The arrest came less than two months after Uzomah got into a confrontation with a security guard assigned to protect Seacrest at a charity event. Along with the prison sentence, the judge also ordered Uzomah to stay 500 yards away from Seacrest and his workplace for 10 years. Seacrest is a radio and television personality best known for hosting top-rated reality TV show "American Idol," where amateur singers compete for a record deal.
