ADVERTISEMENT Saturday's success left Ireland as the only team in this year's tournament with a played three, won three record. Now victories away to Scotland and Wales, whose hopes of back-to-back clean sweeps disappeared against France in Paris on Friday, would see Ireland end their 61-year-wait for the Grand Slam. But the focus of O'Driscoll, man-of-the-match against England after scoring Ireland's only try having previously landed a 30-metre drop-goal, was firmly fixed on Scotland, who earlier Saturday won their first match of this season's Six Nations with a 26-6 victory over a lacklustre Italy. "Nothing has changed for us," O'Driscoll insisted. "We'll give Scotland exactly the same respect we gave France, Italy and England," he added ahead of the March 14 match in Edinburgh. Defeat away to Scotland in 2001 ultimately cost Ireland what would have been only the second Slam in their history and O'Driscoll said: "Murrayfield is a tough place to go - I know that from experience. "Any side can beat any other in this tournament. That's what makes it so hard to win." After Ireland went 14-6 up late on it seemed as if they'd all but won a hard-fought encounter. But when England full-back Delon Armitage scored a converted try with barely a minute left on the clock there was a chance Ireland could have found themselves rueing fly-half Ronan O'Gara's four missed goalkicks from six attempts. "The ending was a little nerve-wracking," 2005 British and Irish Lions captain O'Driscoll admitted. "We made it harder for ourselves than we needed to conceding when we did near the end. "But we played it out and won. We didn't stress ourselves and did what we needed to. "There were a few opportunities out there. That was one of the more physical matches played in a long, long time," the gifted centre said after winning his 91st Ireland cap. "England have been in three World Cup finals and are a huge team to beat. "We enjoy winning against them because we know how hard it is. It wasn't the perfect performance but we're happy to have beaten England, albeit by one point."
