Chase - AHN News Editor Pensacola, FL, United States (AHN) - An 87-year-old woman was arrested for selling crack. She was caught when an undercover police officer purchased a $20.00 piece of crack from her during a drug sting. Following Ola Mae Agee's arrest and processing authorities released the woman on her own recognizance because of her age. However this wasn't the first time the elderly woman has been busted for peddling drugs. In 1996, at the age of 73, she was arrested for possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, manufacture or deliver. In that case she pleaded no contest and served a two-year probation. Then yet again in 1999 she was arrested for possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, but the charges stemming from that arrest were dropped. Interestingly, Agee isn't the the only grandma arrested for selling crack. In 2004, a 96-year-old North Carolina woman along with some of her younger family members was arrested for selling the drug from her Kings Mountain home.
