New York, NY, United States (CNS) - Dina Lohan's planned shoe line has been scrapped. After announcing her own "Shoe-Han" footwear in October, Lindsay Lohan's infamous momager lost a deal with a Long Island-based shoe company to launch the line.
Dina hoped to launch the line worldwide by Mother's Day this year.
But according to Fox News' Pop tarts, Lovemyshoes.com decided to not to move forward with Dina's footwear line because of economic reasons.
A rep for the company told Fox, "Love My Shoes regrets to announce we are not moving forward with the Dina Lohan line of shoes at this time due to continued economic sluggishness and the prevalent mood of today's shoppers. Love My Shoes and its President, Robert Yeganeh, wish Dina continued success in all her projects."
Dina is still determined to launch Shoe-Han, though. She is targeting a larger company this time.
Her rep said that they need a bigger partner anyway and that they are currently exploring other options.
