LOS ANGELES - The "Jersey Shore" cast was never going to stop working, even if they were still embroiled in a salary dispute, according to a report.
"The contracts were, like, the extra bonus. We weren't ever going to stop work," cast member Jenni "JWOWW" Farley said.
During the first season of the hit MTV reality show, the cast made $5,000 per episode. Because the series became a cultural phenomenon, the cast demanded a steep pay raise -- and got one.
"Everybody wanted to come back," Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino told the New York Post.
"We were going to Jersey regardless," Farley reiterated.
The cast reportedly makes $30,000 an episode for the second season, with several members tied to other projects.
Sorrentino is attached to a vodka company and GNC vitamins. .TNicole "Snooki" Polizzi told reporters at TCA last week that she was working on a "Snooktionary."
