Los Angeles, CA (AHN) - A section of an apartment building in Koreatown collapsed Sunday night, injuring four people.
Dozens of firefighters responded to a call before 9:00 pm about an old apartment complex along Westmoreland Ave. They rescued four wounded people from the rubble. One of them was brought to a nearby hospital for treatment, but none suffered life-threatening injuries.
More than 20 people were in the building during the collapse, the cause of which is still being investigated by police.
The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power and the Gas Co. shut off gas and water after an inspection of the building.
