All new batches of "Julie’s" brand biscuits, manufactured on or after 2 December 2008, will be allowed to be imported into Singapore. Each consignment must be accompanied by a health certificate and laboratory report. AVA said it has inspected the factories that manufacture "Julie’s" biscuits in Malaysia. AVA added that it is satisfied with the measures taken by the manufacturer and the Malaysian authorities to ensure that the products are not contaminated with melamine.
