Cheer Chen converts her wardrobe into recording studio
Channel NewsAsia - 2 hours 22 minutes ago
A quiet girl with power vocals, musical talents and unique ideas up her sleeves, converts her wardrobe into a studio, where she records songs for her new album "Sun". Taiwanese singer-composer Cheer Chen finds rock and roll spirit in such a recording manner.
In fact, this is not the first time that Chen is experiment with her recording site. Last year, she recorded her singles "Pussy" at the lobby of Taipei Main Station. This time, she finally decides on the wardrobe after trying out different corners of her home. Balancing a low budget production with persistent creativity, Chen is confident she can produce sincere music.
In 2009, Chen will become the first female singer-composer to hold a concert at Taipei Arena. This concert will be a continuation of the previous. She wished to remind people that, "Many people may think they are insignificant, but every individual is a shining sun to someone else. Life may not be smooth sailing now but we should maintain hopes for a better tomorrow."
