French filmmaker Claude Berri hospitalised

PARIS, (AFP) - - French filmmaker Claude Berri, best known internationally for producing Roman Polanski's Oscar-winning film "Tess", has been admitted to the Pitie-Salpetriere hospital in Paris, the hospital said Sunday.
Berri, 74, was admitted to the neuroligical service and was in an intensive care unit, the hospital said without indicating the reasons for his hospitisation.
Berri won an Oscar in 1966 for his short "Le Poulet" (The Chicken).
