"Becoming Barack" takes a look at Obama's journey from his early days in Chicago to being named the country's 44th President and America's first black President. The special will include rare footage of Obama, a Chicago news story from 1986 detailing his success as a community activist, a 1990 news clip and interview with Obama as a student and president of the Harvard Law Review, and even interview clips from 1993 with Obama just out of law school and teaching at University of Chicago. The documentary also includes rare personal photos of Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama when they were only newlyweds, and interviews with Chicago area leaders and community members from Obama's years as activist and Senator.
