Entertainment  |  People Michael Blosil jumped to his death on February 26, from the eighth-floor balcony of his downtown Los Angeles apartment. Toxicology tests showed that drugs or alcohol did not contribute to Blosil's death, the L.A. coroner's office said. The celebrity website TMZ.com reported that a friend of Blosil told investigators he was depressed due to bad school grades and a visit from a former girlfriend. The friend also described how Blosil had told her he had tried three times before to hang himself, TMZ said. Michael was Marie Osmond's adopted son with her second husband, Brian Blosil, from whom she is divorced. Marie Osmond is a singer in the show business family The Osmonds, and her hits include "Paper Roses" and "Meet Me in Montana."
