_ Foreign Minister Kasit Piromya, 64. Former ambassador to the U.S., Japan, Germany, Indonesia and the former Soviet Union and graduate of Georgetown University. Vocal supporter of protesters that occupied Government House for three months and took over Bangkok's two airports for a week.
_ Finance Minister Korn Chatikavanij, 44. Oxford classmate and close friend of Abhisit. Economist, former investment banker and head of Thailand's office of JP Morgan Chase & Co. from 1999-2004. Thai media call him "Tall, Handsome."
_ Deputy Prime Minister overseeing security Suthep Thaugsuban, 59. Secretary-general of the Democrat Party. Wooed defectors from ruling party to Democrat-led coalition government. Associated with 1995 land reform scandal that forced dissolution of Parliament and brought down Democrat-led government. Accused of distributing land allocated for poor to wealthy cronies.
_ Interior Minister Chavarat Charnvirakul, 72. Supported deposed ex-premier Thaksin Shinawatra and served as deputy prime minister in previous administration. Jumped to the Democrats.
_ Defense Minister Gen. Prawit Wongsuwan, 63. Country's army commander from 2004-2005. Opponents say appointment was suggested by army chief Gen. Anupong Paochinda. Critics say it shows direct intervention by the military, an accusation Prawit and Anupong deny.
